Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) has introduced IZANA™ Trend, a new digital service designed to give plant owners and operators clearer, faster access to their process data. The tool forms a key part of SFW’s growing IZANA™ Analytics Services, helping customers turn raw data into practical insights that support daily operations and long‑term performance improvement.

A clearer view of plant performance
IZANA™ Trend monitors and visualizes plant process data in real time, presenting it through clear, interactive dashboards. Customers can tailor these dashboards to highlight the metrics most relevant to their operations, making it easier to follow trends, identify deviations, and support timely decision‑making.
Because the tool is cloud‑based, users can securely access their data whenever and wherever they need it—whether on site or remotely. This flexibility helps customers stay connected to their plant performance even when they are not physically present.
Designed for ease of use
Built on Grafana, a widely used open‑source visualization platform, IZANA™ Trend offers a familiar and intuitive user experience. The standard web‑based interface requires no installation, and its filtering and search functions make it simple to locate the right signals quickly.
Customers can:
- monitor KPIs in real time
- browse up to two years of historical data
- select custom time periods and resolutions
- export datasets for further analysis
- combine multiple data sources into one centralized view
These capabilities help customers gain a more complete understanding of their plant’s behavior and support more informed operational decisions.

IZANA™ Trend gives our customers a practical and accessible way to work with their plant data. It also marks an important step toward our full IZANA™ Analytics Services, which will provide even deeper insights and optimization opportunities.
IZANA™ Trend is now available for all SFW customers and will be included in new boiler and Technology Modernization and Upgrade (TMU) deliveries.
