Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. established a joint venture with Chubu Plant Service Co., Ltd. and secured an order for a biomass power plant from Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. For SHI, this is the first order for a dedicated biomass combustion power plant received from an electric power company.
