Decarbonized energy technology provider Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) has secured a contract for delivering a biomass fueled Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) boiler to a combined heat and power (CHP) plant project in South Korea. The project is expected to lower carbon emissions by 400 000 tons, as it replaces an old coal-fired plant with a cutting-edge biomass power plant.
