Sumitomo SHI FW is looking for an


Engineering Information Technology (EIT) team supports Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) engineering function and boiler project execution by maintaining and developing applications and cooperating globally with other SFW organization units.

EIT Development Engineer’s prime responsibility is to develop engineering applications and participating in larger development projects within the team. EIT is a small group of professionals working closely as a team. Our environment is global, and you will get to cooperate with dedicated knowledgeable people from many countries.


As a successful candidate you will have suitable technical education (e.g. B.Eng.) and at least two years’ experience in programming. SQL, programming skills and experience in Visual Studio (C#, .Net, WPF) are mandatory and knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PDMS and COMOS is considered as an advantage.

We expect you to be familiar with Agile methods and development at cloud environment. You have proficiency in verbal and written English and Finnish. Job requires excellent problem-solving and strong teamwork skills. We also want you to have the ability to communicate professionally with technical and non-technical colleagues and clients.
