Risk level indication alone is not enough. The operator must prepared  be act promptly when the risk level is increasing. For this, the Bed Management system comes with clearly defined procedures and operator operator training.

The procedures are defined together with the customer and customized to every boiler. Typically the corrective procedures include

  • Adjusting of the primary air ratio

  • Bed material (sand) feed increase and ensuring material availability

  • Ensuring ash discharge and removal
