March 28, 2019 - Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. secured an order for a 112 MW biomass power plant from Able Energy Limited Liability Company. The Plant will use wood pellets as its fuel source, and is designed to be a high-efficiency, dedicated biomass combustion power plant that utilizes a reheating system.

March 28, 2019 - Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced that it has secured an order for its biomass power plant (project location of Anan, Tokushima) from Oji Green Energy Tokushima Co., Ltd., a power generation company that was jointly established by Oji Green Resources Co., Ltd. and ENEX Electric Power Co., Ltd.
